After getting rained out and turned away by the security guard at Haiku Stairs, we decided to console ourselves with a look at the latest Hollywood prop to wash up on Hawaii’s shores.
Queen Anne's Revenge
This is Queen Anne’s Revenge pirate ship starring in the latest installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. The ship has been tied up at He’eia Harbor in Kaneohe for a couple weeks now. This is the closest that the public can get to the ship, short of chartering a boat.
A better view from the beach
The beach seems to be the best place to get a view of the ship. I heard they usually film at night, that is when this place becomes packed with fans and curiousity seekers eager to get a glimpse of Johnny Depp.
